The role

The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, with a high level of marketing expertise. You will love crafting value propositions and writing marketing content. You will be comfortable in partner/channel environments and have an interest in the tech/IT industry and related technology including; Cloud, Network – NFV/SDN, Security, IoT, and Digitalisation. You’ll be used to working across different verticals such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and defence.


This is a work-from-home position but travel to meet clients will be required occasionally (UK travel typically once every couple of months).

A dedicated office space in your home working environment is essential.


  • Executing Value Propositions and Marketing Consultancy
    • Run client-facing value proposition workshops and telephone interviews with clients and/or their partners using our set questionnaires to gather further information.
    • Ensure delivery to timescales, and maintain quality, based on the end-to-end VP process:
      • Create storyboard outlines for the propositions based on information gathered in the workshops and/or telephone interviews plus any additional desk-based research (message framework).
      • Create draft propositions (narrative: with support from our copy editor as required).
      • Test the proposition (narrative) with clients either face-to-face or via conference calls.
      • Refine the proposition based on feedback through to completion and sign-off.
  • Content Development
    • Create a variety of short and long-form content as per client brief and align with approved messaging frameworks, and narratives.
    • Attend client -briefing sessions and review calls.
    • Provide input and guidance on assets.
    • Conduct additional desk-based research as required.
    • Create outlines and draft assets as per the approved scope of work.
    • Ensure delivery to timescales, and maintain quality.
    • Refine assets based on feedback through to completion and sign-off.
    • Content-based support for PMS and Digital Leads as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
  • CIM accredited.

Experience and skills

  • Agency experience desirable.
  • 5 years’ experience of proposition/solution marketing management or senior communications management experience.
  • 5 years’ of experience working with partners or within channel environments.
  • Copywriting experience.
  • Strong understanding of the difference between the end customer/business-focused messaging and different message applications and styles based on purpose/use.
  • Able to extract key messages and information from internal stakeholders and translate that into customer value based on an understanding of the end customer needs.
  • Experience working for businesses in the IT, Systems Integrator or Telecoms/Network space.
  • Good knowledge and interest of the industry and related technology including; Cloud, Network – NFV/SDN, Security, IoT, and Digitalisation.

Rate of pay



Project by project basis.
